Tylenol 3

I got 30mg codeine pills for my wisdom extraction, but it also tremendously helps with my neuropathic pain and my poor mood. Assuming theres no way I can keep on it smh

Neuropathy

Have developed insulin induced neuropathy which luckily means not forever like most cases of it but still 6 months to a year + of intense 10/10 pain, am taking any and all suggestions. Started gabapentin but started needing sooo much soo fast for it to have any relief. Trying to maybe switch to lyrica for the strength and ive heard of people taking tramadol or even Nucynta an opiod made specifically for nerve pain. Although i know all Dr's are hesitant for addictive meds. Does anyone have experience with gabapentoid meds working or any alternatives. Cant sleep hardly at all or ever find any comfort in almost every positioning. My autonomic system is also effected as I cannot hardly pee or poop and I even can no longer ejaculate -_- anyone relate to this terrible brutal BS? Im only 23 btw

I was diagnosed type 1 diabetic in January and shortly after started insulin. My sugars were on average 400-600+ after a meal, likely for years. Slowly over my first month - month and a half on insulin i began to notice weird feelings of sensitivity on my knees and back of my arms that I initially blamed on dry skin, until it eventually ramped up into severe pain especially at night, and began afflicting my testicles more than anywhere else. I visited to ER and got an ultrasound on them which ruled out torsion which is when the neuropathy link clicked. At night I feel like I am on fire everyday all day my balls ache like a severe bruise and sometimes becoming a stabbing pain, making it impossible to sleep or even sit/lay comfortably. It is scary to me how fast the pain has went from nothing to unbearable. I read that transitioning with insulin from insanely high to mid range normal range sugars can cause this flare up to happen, like my nerves were damaged but I wasnt experiencing the symptoms yet. I started gabapentin which felt like a miracle at first but quickly didnt work anymore as I was taking way more than prescribed so now im out of it until a refill is available. Oh also, not only is it pain but also functional issues. I believe my vagus nerve / autonomic system has also been damaged as it is difficult to pee, poop, and I can not even ejaculate anymore. To put it all simply my body doesnt work anymore and im in intense pain. Im not sure how people live or want to live like this- if meds are not figured out and effective for me i dont think I will
