when a redox reaction is given only in words, like potassium dichromate reacting with iodide, how do we predict the products? What should we refer to or know beforehand to identify the products and then write and balance the equation?

I'm from online batch, and we have classes from around 8 AM to 5:30 PM. After that, we’re expected to revise those concepts
The problem I’m facing is with the weekly exams on Saturday and Sunday. The exams are based on the chapters taught during the previous week , but from Monday to Friday, we’re already being taught with new set of chapters so if I spend my self-study time keeping up with the chapters being taught that day, I barely get enough time to revise the previous week’s chapters for the weekend exam.
How are you guys managing this? Are you following the daily classes and then revising the previous week’s portions separately, or is there some better way to plan it?
