Hi I have a rollover 401k from an old job there’s only like $4k in it should I convert it to my Roth IRA? Or does it not matter? From what I understand if I convert it I owe taxes on that amount, correct? Are there any pros for converting it or pros for leaving in rollover account? I am 36 and I have a company 401k I contribute 8% with and just recently opened Roth IRA I only have like $1k in there right now
