Furnishedfinder vs trailer RV

So I’m new to travel nursing, and I was talking to another traveler who told me he travels all over, including places like northern New York, Maine, and Northern California, with his travel trailer. He said it makes moving between contracts much easier and ends up being cheaper overall.
I’m curious what everyone’s thoughts are on doing this. I’ve looked at RV trailers, and it seems like you can get a decent one for around $18k for a 25ft, so I’m wondering if it pays for itself fairly quickly compared with renting furnished apartments or extended-stay hotels.
Has anyone actually done the math on this, including the cost of the trailer, campground/RV lot rent, insurance, maintenance, propane/electricity, etc.? About how long did it take for the trailer to pay for itself?
Thank you!

Travel nurse to clinical specialist/med sale

Hi so l ve been travel nursing for almost two years now. I don’t want to go back to my city for bedside nursing. my plan was to start TN in California and implement myself there and switch to staff after a year or two there and know where in California I can work and live. In parallel I’ve been looking for non bedside nursing job like clinical specialist/med sale position in my city. I am now in a dilemma where I have an opportunity for a clinical specialist position in my city and where according to my plan will be able to start travel nursing in California (later implement myself there) starting winter 2027. Both will have a good salary rn in cali pays well and a CS/medsale can be really lucrative. So it s more sunshine cali dream vs big money close to family and friends in nyc/nj. All I know is that I don t see myself in bedside nursing at 40-45…obviously medsale make it easy but I know that I can be a nurse in cali then switch therr for smtg more office like but still in nursing…has some of you ever had a professional path dilema?

I m a RN with an associate degree and finishing my BSN at the moment, I also have a graduate certificate in Business administration. I’ve been working in the emergency department for 3years(1.5yr as a staff nurse and 1.5yr as a travel nurse ). My goal is to transition into medical sales or Clinical Specialist. I have 1.5 yr left for my Bachelor in Nursing (BSN). How can I get into one of those roles or what should I do to make my profile attractive to those positions and get hired. Am I missing smtg to break into this industry?
