Moss or algae?
I have had this pond for a year now. This started growing over the winter and I absolutely love the look of it, but I'm wondering if it's helpful or harmful to the ecosystem overall (I have tons of plants in the pond as well as 3 large koi).
At first I thought it was algae since the pond is in full sun, but now I'm wondering if it's a kind of moss. Can anyone identify it and let me know if I am OK to let it ride?
