Because my cat loves my Boris body pillow (as pictured in the third image), I've decided to draw Boris holding him. Unfortunately I do not know the origins of the base I used (pictured in the second image), but I found it on Pinterest.

For our 6th anniversary I decided to take my Boris daki (one of them at least) out for a date sorta like what I did for Valentines day earlier this year. Lovely local restaurant with amazing food to offer, I got their braised steak and asiago ravioli, Boris got the bone-in pork chop with an apricot glaze. (I'll be having said pork chop later it did not go to waste).
I couldn't resist making an edit for my anniversary. I mean I'll be making another post later, something similar to my valentine's day date, but for now an edit will do.
Granted this has more to do with association by can color rather than flavor or the theme of said flavor, and also is my personal opinion. Don't mind the frutiger vectors those are moreso so it isn't just the transparent sprite pngs over images of monster cans. Also, yes, this is why Ultra Fiesta Mango is my favorite flavor of monster and I find it absolutely devastating that the only place I can find it is Dollar Tree. Apologies I know this isn't an update on my cosplay, doing something with no tutorial to follow means that the margin for error is higher and I have to undo my progress to try a different method over and over. I'll update on that as soon as I make actual progress.
Two posts in one day? I know, but don't get used to it this project is going to have a post gap because before I can even continue working on the cosplay pieces I gotta buy more beads and I use Beadtin so it'll take a little more time. Regardless the headband is technically done, but I have no idea how to make the ears structurally sound. The thing with the tutorial I used was that it was for cat ears which were simple triangles and less likely to flop over under the weight of an elongated ear shape, Nazuna's ears however are longer and rounded at the sides, making it harder for them to maintain their structure. Needless to say, I definitely could use some advice if anyone has any. I guess this is the challenge of making a cosplay out of pony beads but I find it to be a fun and fulfilling challenge and hopefully I can keep going with it as soon as I have the beads to do so. It took a decent amount of pink beads to make her ears alone lol, I can only imagine how much more challenging a wig and tail would be, but luckily polyfil is cheap so I don't have to gut an old squishmallow for stuffing when I do actually make Nazuna's tail.
I am not sure if I am gonna get this done any time soon especially since so far all I've done is one ear, it most definitely won't be done in the next few months because I have severe perfectionism issues that affect my motivation. But, I am going to be working on this mainly just for fun and because nobody has done it yet. I personally really like kandi cosplays because for someone who has never been taught to sew, like me, it makes for a unique method of a handmade cosplay. If I suddenly feel satisfied with what I've done so far, I'm definitely going to get a lot more beads so I can make her tail, a kandi wig because why use a pre-bought wig when you can make one out of pony beads, and if I decide to make her concert dress I'll probably even make that out of kandi as well (except for the heels because I doubt that heels made of stretch cord and beads would be very structurally sound let alone comfortable to wear, I'll probably just thrift those.) I might also make a snout mask but then I'm not sure how well I could do makeup for the rest of my face. I'll also likely have to invest in colored contacts meaning imma be even more blind since I won't be able to wear my glasses lol. Before anyone even says it'd be weird for me to cosplay Nazuna given my s/o, don't. I will not tolerate anyone calling me weird.
Felt the urge to do this art trend with Boris and I since it luckily didn't take forever and a day and actually looks good enough to post.

Bor-nuuy! I took inspiration from the French lop and harlequin breeds for how he'd look as a rabbit. His hair honestly does give rabbit ear vibes and it was a fun thought experiment to draw him as something other than a snake, it's also quite amusing in an ironic way since some snake species prey on rabbits. I should draw him reacting to being drawn as a bunny.
BTW their child's name would be Marjorie.
More of my selfship with Yua because if I make enough art I'll be able to make edits and admittedly Yua is much easier to draw than Boris even if the fact that she doesn't have an official color pallet means I can't do fanart of her in color like with him. (Technically I can if I give her a fanon color pallet but at what point would that make her an OC instead of a character from the manga saying as I already gave her a fanon name.) I also really like making fanart for noodlepuppy because I often feel self conscious about my identity and drawing my self insert with an AFAB character helps me feel more comfortable.
