Tell me how your surgery went!

This is gonna be my first surgery ever and I am 20 years old, my consultation should be coming up so hopefully within the next month I can get this thing out.
But I’m scared, I know surgery is a very normal fear but I am actively catching slight anxiety over it, scared of complications or of passing away during it despite the risk being literally 0 for my age group and with my medical history.
Is there any reassurance I can get about surgery? I just want to have good facts or stories so i can go in with a clear head. Thank y’all!

I was diagnosed with sludge back November 2025, it wasn’t deemed an issue so i was put on the low fat high fiber diet and i was so strict on it and did so good.
Suddenly last month i had weird small pains in my back and this month i was rushed to the hospital over it.
I got my results today back from my doctor to show that everything is okay but my liver levels are a bit elevated and she wants me to speak with a surgeon to get an opinion, honestly i am devastated.
I am 19, 1000 miles away from home, and in a state where the healthcare is the literal worst.
I am so extremely scared right now, I’ve never had surgery and thinking about it just feels like a death sentence, now I’m waiting to go for a CAT scan to even get the verdict of what to do, i am genuinely so freaked out, and then along with being a full time college student and having to work part time i am needing to worry about this.. literally give me a break🫠

The title pretty much sums it up, but i have been practicing witchcraft for several years, i now identify as a folk witch due to some spiritual experiences that led me towards it.

I have been doing a lot of research and found psalm magic from the bible, i have never heard of it but it is something i would be interested in perusing, a lot of stuff I’m seeing is saying it is a type of hoodoo and i just want to make sure I’m not invading a closed practice. I truly do not mean harm but i would love to be more educated on this topic if anyone knows anything.

I mainly practice through my Appalachian connection through family, anything helps!💕
