My room gets crazy hot during the day and still feels warm at night. I’ve been using a fan but it’s not enough anymore. I’m looking for a small portable AC that actually cools the room w/o being loud or bulky. I’ve seen some that vent through the window with a hose and others that use water or ice. Do those water ones even work or just act like fancy fans?

I’m also renting rn so I’m trying to keep my electric bill low. I just need something that can run a few hrs before bed w/o costing much. Any recs for a quiet n easy setup unit? I don’t wanna deal with hoses or window kits.
