Really Disappointed With the Sleep A30 - Should I Switch to SomniPods?

I've been using the Soundcore Sleep A30 for a while now, and there's one issue that's been bothering me more and more to the point where I'm considering switching to a different pair of sleep earbuds.

My biggest problem is what happens after the earbuds detect that I've fallen asleep. Once they switch into sleep mode, the masking sound follows the system settings, and as far as I can tell, there's no way to separately adjust the background sound volume for after you're asleep. The change in volume is noticeable enough that it's woken me up several times, especially when I'm just starting to drift off.

I've also been pretty disappointed with the ANC on the A30. I know ANC performance can be subjective and depends a lot on the type of noise you're dealing with, but in my bedroom, I can barely tell any difference between having ANC on and off. I still end up relying pretty heavily on the masking sound to cover outside noise.

Recently I've been looking into the SomniPods. I contacted their customer support and was told that after the earbuds detect that you've fallen asleep, you can still control the volume of the background or masking sound instead of leaving it entirely up to the system. It sounds like you do have to configure the touch controls and a few settings first, which is a little more setup than I'd ideally like.

I'm tempted to give the SomniPods a try, but I'd really like to hear from anyone who has actually switched from the A30 to SomniPods. Was it worth it?
