Desperate. CBP created I-181 for my baby, it isnt showing in the system and no green card received in 7 months
At the beginning of this year,my family came to the US. My husband and I had immigrant visas printed in our passports. Our child was born after the interview so they werent included in the application. When we arrived to the US, we gave our yellow packages to CBP and explained to them that our child doesnt have immigrant visa. They admitted our baby as a permanent resident w/o an immigrant visa, they created a form I-181 and gave and A# (our baby was less than 2 years old so they didnt need their own visa). Its been 7 months and my baby hasnt received green card. When I call to USCIS they cant see my baby in the system even if I give them their alien number. I have been calling for months and still have the same answer that they cant see anything and that I need to straight things up with CBP. I already confirmes with CBP that they sent all information to USCIS and also gave me a tracking number. I told all of this many times to USCIS officers, I also asked to speak with Tier 2 officer. They created a service item number and was supposed to receive a call back within 30 calendar days. No one call me back so I called them back to confirm everything is ok and was told they cant do anything and I should just wait. There was also a suggestion to apply for a replacement of the green card. I cant replace a green card since it never has been delivered and if my baby isnt showing in the system, they cant replace anything.
My babys I551 stamp in the passport is going to expire soon and I am stuck on what else I can do. I cant just show up at the USCIS office without an appointment. I tried to do ADIT stamp appointment and was declined.
If there is anyone who can help I would really appreciate anything at this point. I tried everything to get my baby a green card but it seems there is nothing I can do to straight things up.
