Making the drive in a few weeks from El Paso TX to Fayetteville NC.

Driving I-20 through Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, then I-95 to NC.

Any recommendations for a spot to stop 2k budget. Not wanting to go more than 30 minutes off the HWY.

Normally I go to South of The Border in SC but I figure there has to be a better spot not far off my path where I can get better pricing then the big box stores on the SC border.

For reference this was about 1k last year south of the border.
