Took me longer than it should have because I didn't have the luminous rod, but other than that... All it did was take a few of my precious hours. But it was very worth it imo (Love the music it plays too)

I was so stupid trading it away at first. I think the shop after it, i traded it for cobalt or seastrum a while after, but i finally got it again!
I know I know, more guitar slop stuff but it's a serenade, we are ALL getting it either way.
But all jokes aside, since FischFright is right around the corner, I thought about how would a serenade would look if it ever get decided to be made sometime around the update drops.
Later on, I would post it with rod music/custom animations/mutation concepts/rod passives/(MAYBE mastery)
But someone be honest with me. Overdesigned? Too much? Changes needed? Just right? 1-10?

With other exclusive rods, I mean stuff like Astraeus, Polaris, Katana Rod, Electric Guitar, etc.
Like sure, the rods may not come back other than being wished for during christmas, but just because that's the reason why they don't get skins in the shop anymore doesn't mean they can never get a skin again, right? There's people out there that still uses these rods and are holding on to the tiniest bit of hope that it gets a new skin someday (Astraeus....).
I think this kind of chapel thing is good for F2P, but I also do think the skins should rotate with new skins for certain rods, including the ones that are already gone.
Just... Let them have custom UIs or animation so they actually feel worth doing.
What do you think? Should they do this or nah, you'd rather have them be OG skins for christmas?

I'm sure everybody is a little tired of OGB appearing the shop every week. I can agree that it's starting to become the new Onirifalx. But I think it should get ONE LAST SKIN and it should be based off of Gojo. With how fast Malevolence sold out when it released, I kind of expected for OGB or any other rod skin to get a Gojo skin after a while but uh... Guess not.
Buuuuutttt.... Apparently since OGB is getting a mastery tomorrow (hopefully), how about just one last teensy little skin for it? Of Gojo.
Then after that, we can all sit in a circle, hold hands and start praying for the devs to start remembering Rememberance.

I think I was one of the few people who were genuinely intrigued by this little story approach the devs were doing until they decided to pull a Fortnite chapter 2. But after all of that, this guy and his brother are like... Just never mentioned or used again. Ever. Cthulhu is still in the game but he's just in the void as of right now.
It's possible that the devs either forgot about Cthulhu, decided scrap everything about him and not to do anything with it again along with second sea, possible copyright issues, or scrapping it as being a lore thing. If not, then I guess I can kind of understand that since they probably didn't agree on Fisch being a story based game like that. And if that's true, then they honestly don't have to redo the lore. I say just adding a location/expanding on a very popular cosmic being in a game about fishing should be a must-do thing. That would be enough for me tbh.
I was thinking that a future update could either be a Terrapin/Cursed Isles/Cultist expansion and rework the entire thing. Heck, maybe even making Cthulhu a boss again with reworked mechanics, his own location with plenty of new fishes and boss exotics (similar to the Olympian hunts), new rods (Great Dreamer rod mastery), and many more things that could possibly work for the expansion.
What do you all think? Do you wish for Cthulhu to make a comeback with multiple new content or just let him rest along with second sea?
Basically what I mean is that our default idle/running/jumping should be able to be replaced by the current rod with the animated skin or any or skin that has it we want.
(EX. Without having Noiseform in your hand while having the Kaboom skin on, you can have the option to use the idle/run animation.)
But obviously it should be a togglable option in the settings somewhere. Ever since Kaboom got added, I've been seeing rod skin idle & run animations look insanely well-done and sometimes I think it would be nice to use those animations without having to hold the rod every time to use them. But then again, it's a fishing game, not some anime battlegrounds game so I can understand why this isn't a thing.
And I also understand that some skin animations (Like Archangelite, Gummy Bam, Meanie Dog, Etc.) might not have that kind of option since they would kind of look weird or just wouldn't work in general without holding the rods for it.
I don't think not having this as a option is a huge issue. This is just something I have been thinking about for a long time and finally felt the need to talk about it because of how Nice I thought it was.
Anyways, what do you think? Would you like to see this kind of option someday?
Jokes aside, catching all of them with OGB isn't THAT bad (except for Legionnaire, but i didn't have slashes for it). But I know for a CERTAIN that catching olympian hunt fishes are required. I would be so surprised if it isn't.
What challenges and rewards do you think would be possible for OGB when it comes out?
I'm aware that it's admin/CC exclusive but I still pray every single day that it randomly drops in the shop lol. As a HSR fan, it kinda hurts to see the best thing ever get locked and to never be seen in the light of day. At least Chrysalis still looks cool!
