Hi! Hoping the London hive mind can help me with this one.
I’m organising a dinner for around 15–18 people in London and struggling to find a private dining space that isn’t £2k+ once minimum spends and room hire are added.
The guests will be paying for themselves, so I’m trying to keep it to around £65 per person max, ideally including a two-course meal and perhaps a welcome drink.
The main requirement is privacy and need a quiet private room (ideally with a door) where people can speak freely without the next table listening in.
Looking for:
- Central London / reasonably easy to get to
- Private room for 15–18 people
- Around £65pp or less
- Ideally no large room hire fee / huge minimum spend
- Nice and intimate rather than super formal
I’ve found lots of lovely private dining rooms, but many seem designed for corporate events with £1.5–2k+ minimum spends.
Does anyone know a restaurant, pub dining room, members-club-style space or hidden gem that might work?
Would especially love recommendations from anyone who’s organised something similar. Thank you!
