1920 house remodel/restoration

My wife and I bought this 1920 house in Everett, WA, a city on the I-5 corridor 30 miles north of Seattle, in 2014. We purchased it with the intent of remodeling it. The house needed a lot of work.  Didn't really know what we were getting into.

House the day we bought it. It had been remodeled over the years. Porch closed in and plywood siding added to make it look more modern.

Opened the porch back up. Stripped the plywood siding off. A portion of the original trim was under it.

Work in progress. With jobs, family, weather and not being a professional it took almost a full year. A lot of reading and youtube tutorials.

Finished. Porch opened back up, original siding added and restored, new door, new window in attic, new hardscape, brick planters against house removed. It was a lot of work but worth all the time and money.
