Will artificial Intelligence take the job of a sound designer?
Hey y'all!
Just wondering if any of y'all had thoughts on the future of sound design and the security of the work with the rise of Artificial Intelligence?
Im of the thought - like with lots of creative jobs - we will be come more taste curators. Artificial Intelligence makes sound we select/manipulate. Similar to what is done now, just the source of it is different. Im sure there will still be a purist approach to sound design and replicating the intricacies of a human manipulating real world objects won't be easy, and the old fashion way will still hold up for a long time.
But yea whats everyone's thoughts on this stuff.
P.S. I know this subreddit has rules on the use of Artificial Intelligence I'm not promoting it to make art, ive never used it in my work, I just want to discuss the reality of what the future might look like with or without it.
