Advice about a lawyer 👀
I hired an employment lawyer to help me with an employment dispute. After talking to a senior partner for the consult I felt they were going to be good.
Once I signed on for the 2,000 letter to my employer and a no win no fee approach they handed me off to an inept junior and then became very uncommunicative.
The junior kept making mistakes in my letter and after sending it they didn’t hear back for a month, and I was supposed to have an agreed quick exit. So I kept getting med certs so I didn’t have to go back. That ends soon.
Then we heard back from my employer and the lawyer had sent two letters at the same time from the principal and the junior that said two different things with two different outcomes. Obviously an error. At this point I just want my money back from the lawyer as I now look foolish and I am over it.
I have now been smoked by my employer AND my lawyer. What should I do? Can I get my money back because they fumbled the letter?
