Stuck in a slump with Smolder – Please rate/fix my builds! (Currently struggling to impact games)

I’ve been playing a lot of Smolder lately, but I’ve recently hit a massive slump. I feel like I'm either not hitting my 150/225 stack spikes fast enough, or when I do, my damage feels completely underwhelming, and I just get blown up in teamfights.
I’m starting to think my itemization is completely off. Here are the core paths I’ve been experimenting with. Please tell me what I’m doing wrong or what I should swap out:

DIM from collecting more certifications (when I have zero experience)

Hey everyone, I need a reality check.

I’m a frustrated IT professional trying to find a better job, but the market is tight and the competition is brutal. I already have my AWS Cloud Practitioner, and my brain is trying to convince me to study for the next higher cert to stand out.

But here’s the truth:
- Studying for exams takes forever and drains my work-life balance.
- Another piece of paper won't fix my biggest issue: I lack hands-on experience.

I want to stop falling for the "just one more cert" trap. Deinfluence me from wasting time and money on another exam, and convince me to just focus on building an actual project portfolio instead.
Give me the hard truth!

Certifications or Hands-on Portfolio Projects?

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for some advice on where to direct my focus next.

My Situation:
I already have a certification under my belt, but like many others, I’m running into the classic catch-22: most job openings require practical experience that I don't have yet. I feel a bit stuck on how to bridge that gap.

My Constraints:
- Time & Focus: Studying takes time, and I prefer to focus on one major thing at a time so I don't overload myself.
- Burnout Prevention: I still want to actually enjoy my life outside of career prep, so I'm trying to be highly efficient with my free time.
