GMC Terrain 2015

Has anyone dealt with a weird vibration when turning the steering wheel especially on sharp or deep turns?
When I turn left or right hard while driving the car starts vibrating. The best way I can describe it is it feels like when you hit the rumble strips on the side of the highway, or almost like the front tires are rubbing on something. As soon as I start straightening the wheel, the vibration goes away. I’ve heard people say it’s normal, but I’m not sure if that’s true.
Also, I recently got a P0420 code that came on about 2 days ago. I’ve never had this issue before the car has always been well maintained at the dealer including a new transmission and timing components.
I cleaned the throttle body and MAF sensor, and while I was there I noticed the PCV tube looked like it had been glued before. The plastic nipple is broken, and part of it is stuck inside the rubber hose.
Since that code came on, the car has been driving differently. For example I can be cruising at 60 mph but when I start slowing down the RPMs go up before dropping back down. It almost feels like engine braking on a motorcycle with slight jerk. Could that broken PCV/vacuum line be causing the P0420 code and is the vibration on turns actually normal or should I be looking into something like axles or suspension?
