Are my senses broken? Doctor Bird/Smith & Cross

I went to the store yesterday with the intention of treating myself to a bottle of Smith & Cross, but the Doctor Bird caught my attention. I took a moment to search for reviews here and saw several comparisons between the two with most favoring S&C, mostly due to not having an industrial nose and taste compared to Doctor Bird. I noticed the opposite. The nose on the later is super funky in a pleasant way and I found it a lot easier for sipping.

Not sure if I'm alone in this. I've yet to try Hampden yet, and seems like the three are known for funk. If there are others that prefer Doctor Bird over S&C please drop some additional recs, we may be sensory buddies.

Got these to try out instead of attempting to refill a Pentel. Honestly think these two mostly vary in packaging, with the preference being the Molotow since the cap screws on. The Krink cap has no threading or snapping mechanism. However, it doesn't seem like the Molotow has a mixing widget. Not the biggest deal as I can put one in there, found it interesting is all.
