FitCamX 4K (front-only) for 2026 Santa Fe Limited

Does anyone have any experience with the FitCamX dashcam for the 2026 Santa Fe? If so, was the install fairly easy and straightforward? Easy to use? How's the recording quality, especially at night? I'm planning just the front dash and skipping the rear camera.

High Beam Assist

After enabling the High Beam Assist, with the headlamp switch to AUTO, and pushing the turn signal lever away from you, the High Beam feature works as advertised. However, once you turn off the car, this setting does not stay configured. Is there a way to keep the high beam assist permanently configured without having to keep pushing the lever after restarting the car?

Humidity & S 18-40mm

Took my brand new LUMIX S9 with the 18-40mm lens to Hilton Head Island to take pictures at the beach. There’s some humidity but not bad. But the lens keeps clouding up so all my shots are badly blurred. Must be either the lens or the LCD screen. Take it back to hotel room and a few minutes it’s all good again and cleared up. This doesn’t happen to my iPhone or my Canon R5. Is this normal? This is making me miss my Canon EVF even more.

Hello everyone. New to the group and really new to Lumix cameras. I've always been a Canon user (last 20+ years), have an R5 currently with lots of RF L glass and previously 6D and 5D DSLRs. Slowly researching what the S9 can do. Now that I'm older and hating the weight when I go traveling, I was leaning to get the R8, but the lightweight and really awesome real time LUTs on the S9, plus the cheaper glass and small footprint are very intriguing. So, should I pull the trigger and get the S9 with the TTArtisan 40mm prime or is this camera too gimmicky and that I'll miss the EVF a lot. One thing I did notice is most of the sample S9 photos from people, the sharpness is sometimes way too soft or is that more of the LUT-based setting which can be fixed in RAW? I shoot mostly landscapes, street, wildlife, and sometimes action and portraits. Am really wanting to like this camera. I'm still keeping the R5 for some pro work, but for personal traveling, I want a much lighter setup and experimenting with my own and other people's LUTs for that cinematic look.
