What are we feeding our vizslas (2026)
I currently have two Vizslas- unaltered males age 4 and 6. We have been feeding them a combination of farmers dog in the morning and homemade mix at night for a few years now. However, I recently saw that farmer’s dog has been associated with a lot of health issues. I’m wanting to put my boys on something without all the lawsuits and concerning headlines. Plus, I have them on the highest calorie of farmers dog and match that in the evening and they cannot maintain weight. They are both pretty active.
I saw someone mention inukshuk but then I did a little more research and it looks like it causes really runny poop. i’m thinking I’ll maintain my homemade mixture as a topper for both breakfast and dinner but want something to put it on. Open to all suggestions other than making 100% of their meals because I do have a toddler.
