This is my first time ever posting here by the way, even though I was lurking here. So I saw a post that started a discussion on us soldiers and whether or not they were victims of the system or imperialist scumbags. I generally hear that many people join the military due to being poor as well as the massive amounts of propaganda that exists but I have also heard people equating those who join the military to those who join the police. I want to know everyone’s stances on this since it’s been nagging at me for a while now plus I do have plans on going fully left wing.
