I am a US 3.5 recreational player who plays leagues sometimes at home. I've been traveling over the last few months within the US. When I can, I look for a pickleball game. In some geographical areas (especially where pickleball, like tennis, is a seasonal game), I am told by folks that I am easily a 4.0 or better. Is it my imagination or are ratings inflated a bit in the non-pro pickleball areas sometimes in those areas/US cities where it is not a major sport?
