The Stories Behind Lord EX (Not Sonic.EXE)

(this is the CANON version of this character. The other version of him seen on roblox is noncanon to him. According to JoeDoughBoi he's officially the official version of Sonic.EXE replacing 2011x. (trust frfr 100% true. if it wasn't obvious enough already, this is the most truest statement ever because he hearted one of my replies featuring this character)

Lord EX (Not Sonic.EXE) is a sadistic psychopathic murderous killer that LOVES toying with his prey. Once he finds one, he'll ruin their life before killing them when they're at their lowest. This happened with a good fella named Lukas who freed him from Sonic Adventure 1 and ended up watching his entire family and town die to his hands and when he tried to confront EX about it, he ended up looking like pizza after getting thrown into a bunch of spikes... dead as hell.

Not only is he evil, he's mischevious as well. He often gets himself into trouble just so he can net a couple more kills, since this guy's some kind of God. Not only does he have beef with the people on earth, he often visits other planets just to destroy them and drive species there extinct. He also often kill a bunch of innocent people who did nothing to him who hasn't seen him before and doesn't live anywhere near the guy for fun simply because he can. No one's safe on this planet, or anywhere really. He's also fully immortal so no matter what you do to the guy he won't get hurt or killed. Trying to pull a Zamasu and erasing the timeline won't help your case either, he'll be waiting in the next to finish the job.

Despite being evil and all, he isn't really good at villain monologues, often spitting out the most edgiest and coolest sounding words he can think of such as "Your patheticness dissappoints me. Your best bet is to die here." but when it comes to being an annoyance, he wins. He'll often make fun of the way his opponent throws a punch and even does random stuff mid battle. Once he's bored of the fight, he'll just find the most unfair way to kill someone and laugh at them once they're on the ground before finding a place for them to slowly die. He also has quite the sailor mouth, swearing whenever he can like a middleschooler. Because he thinks swearing is cool!

He often confronts Tails late at night when he's busy in the workshop to beat him for a couple of minutes until he's bleeding before teleporting away. He often messes around with Tails by using his Sonic disguise. He once asked Tails if he wanted to go out for chillidogs in his disguise and ended up leaving him in the middle of the woods with a missing limb and black eye before the actual Sonic found him. This led to Tails having trust issues and stuff, not knowing which Sonic is real. Tails is able to defend himself against Lord EX most of the time but he's usually tired or caught off guard when he sees him.

Lord EX further manipulates Tails by using his disguise right AFTER beating up Tails and asking if he's okay before revealing himself and kicking him in the temple and running away laughing and calling him various bad word. The following night he visited Tails telling him that he should've seen the look on his face before throwing a pie from the bomb factory at him.

He also has his best "friend" named Lucas. Lucas is a high schooler (or 19 at most) that is related to the scientist in some way. He freed Lord EX by accident thinking it was one of those "Crappy Sonic.EXE fangames" he saw on the web and paid the ultimate price. He's often tormented by the demonic hedgehog and killed over and over. Due to Lord EX's revival abilities, he can revive anyone just so he can kill them again. He's often shown messing with Lucas' every day life; killing his friends for fun, pulling the fire alarm at school while invisible while Lucas walks past it to make it seem like he did it, killing his entire family for fun and pretty much being an annoyance at all times. When Lucas finally had the courage to ask his crush out on a date, Lord EX suddenly appeared when she said yes and 360 no-scoped her before hitting the Fortnite default dance. This had Lucas pissed at Lord EX and crying for weeks often wishing he never touched the game. During one night where he was just looking up at the ceiling knowing he just won the perfect date but lost it, Lord EX came out of nowhere and laughed at him and kept making fun of him. He called him "Mr. Single Man!" over and over for three hours straight before Lucas finally got up and tried punching EX. When he threw a punch, Lord EX caught it and said "What's wrong? Do you want to end up like that stupid bitch?" This ended up awakening something inside of Lucas, a strength like no other. He powered up and begin beating the ever living shit out of EX and ended up leaving him with a black eye before waking up in the emergency room. The doctor explained that his adopted mother saw him in the emergency room with blood all over him and parts of his face's skin missing. Apparently, it was all a dream and Lucas began to cry even harder. The following night Lord EX appeared in the hospital room and flipped him off while sticking his tongue out at him while lowering that lower part of his eye to add salt to the wound before teleporting away right after.

The next day at school, Lucas saw his crush and hugged her thinking she was alive and it was all a dream before looking up and seeing Lord EX's face looking at him. He suckerpunched Lucas and left him on the ground.

Not only that but Lord EX even torments Lucas whenever he's going shopping with his mother as well. Whenever his mom asks for something, Lord EX swaps the object Lucas grabs the moment he grabs it so he looks like a complete idiot. He also sometimes hides bombs in the shopping cart so when the cashier picks it up wondering what it is, they end up with smoke in their face and coughing out more smoke before comically crumbling into dust. While Lucas is driving his car, Lord EX often picks it up and throws it far away into the ocean, put it further away from its destination or straight up tosses it so it explodes when it hits the ground just to fuck with him.

This is just one of the thousands of mishaps Lucas found himself in after freeing Lord EX but he isn't the only one receiving these fun and amazing experiences as well, but along with a bunch of random people Lord EX happens to see. A construction worker trying to lift up steel with a crane? Snatch it and beat him up with it. A doctor trying to do surgery in a patient? Put poison in the tools so it kills the patient. A family at a funeral? Light the whole thing on fire. The fun with EX never ends!

Lord EX often spends his time in a spot outside of the universe only he can access where he watches "TV," that being whatever's happening on Earth. It's more like a spectator mode or anything, and whenever he seems people going about their day he just ruins it for fun often killing people or making one thing in their day slightly harder to manage.

Team Sonic had many run ins with Lord EX on multiple occasions trying to get him to stop. But whenever Sonic gets the upperhand, EX plays a naughty trick and ends up getting away. One time, Sonic tried fighting EX on his own once when he learned what's been happening to Tails and tried to stop him in a fit of rage but since his guilt overwhelmed him alongside how unfair Lord EX's attacks were, he ended up losing the battle. Every time Sonic tried hitting EX with a homing attack or any of his other moves, Lord EX ends up going invisible right before he hit. Lord EX mocked Sonic using his disguise and when Sonic began crashing out and going all out, Lord EX already had him in his grasps and dealt a final kick to the chest at full force and got away. Sonic vowed that the next time Lord EX tries to hurt Tails, he will keep calm and win.

Sonic doesn't run into Lord EX all that often though, they often avoid each other and barely miss each other at most so it's unlikely Sonic will get revenge considering how busy his schedule is. (Stop Eggman's schemes, eat chillidogs, get rest, repeat.)

Lord EX doesn't mess with Sonic as he doesn't really care about him. He's the least of his worries and would rather not get into a fight that could end the planet, as EX needs a planet to torment. Lord EX doesn't really have plans to take over the world yet but that could change.

One time, Lord EX tried stealing the master emerald once but was thrown off the island by Knuckles and never went back there because it isn't worth his time. He shattered the master emerald once and that's all the satisfaction he needs.. Will he ever get the master emerald someday? That's for the future to tell. I heard EX had a super secret form he gets when he uses the master emerald! I wonder what that would be...

Abilities & Such:

Anything Sonic can do, he can do better!

He's not only fast, he can go invisible and fly! And in case you haven't played any Sonic.EXE assymetrical horror games, going invisible is known for giving you extra speed. Lord EX can go invisible indefinitely, allowing him to cut off his victims and giving them a knuckles sandwich in the face. He also learned all of Sonic's moves from Sonic Frontiers as well, which means not only is he just as powerful than Sonic he's more dangerous as well. If you anger Lord EX for whatever reason, then you're done for. You really told the evil hedgehog with bloody eyes that he's short and expected to get away with it with both of your spinal cords intact.

He can also teleport, which he abuses a lot so he can say something and teleport away.

He also has his super awesome super dangerous superform known as Overlord EX that takes away ALL hope of your survival. Most you can do is hope a green ring's nearby because he's a lot stronger and he'll get this huge power trip and will use his power to its fullest potential. This form requires the chaos emeralds so just keep it away from him at all costs.

He's also a master of disguise, he can disguise as just about anyone you can think of! They're FLAWLESS. His sonic disguise has ZERO flaws and he acts so in character you won't be able to tell until it's too late.

Sometimes, when the actual Sonic goes out, he's asked by villagers why he broke into their house and killed their children. One time, Sonic once had to deal with a riot outside of wherever he goes when he sleeps because he blew up several houses. Luckily, since they are the same people who confused sonic for shadow, he just tells them it was probably Metal Sonic and moves on with his day... after asking Eggman about it.

Hello, my name's Lucas. I've always been a Sonic fan since the first game came out. I love him with all my heart. I love his carefree spirit and how he flows like the wind. He's way cooler than a certain red plumber. I've always been with Sonic, even during his worst moments. I always had hope that after every failure Sonic had, SEGA and Sonic Team finds a way to bounce back on their feet. Recently, I found a weird copy of Sonic Adventure in the attic when I was packing up to move away. The case looked normal, but Sonic looked weird. Sonic's shoes were grey, and his eyes was black as a void. I plugged up my old SEGA Dreamcast to play the game, but something felt off. The disc had the same creepy Sonic on it, but it had the words "I'm Evil" in red marker. I also saw a voice recording warning me to not play the game, here's what it said:

*"If you're listening to this, do not play the game. Destroy the disc immediately, it holds many dangers to society as a whole. A spirit lives within the game known as "Lord EX." I trapped him in there due to how violent and cruel he is. He's a dangerous being who likes to play games. He manipulated me, don't let him manipulate you. I was so blind to the truth; I thought his kindness was genuine. Oh, the horrible things he made me do. The hedgehog resembled Sonic, he looked exactly like him. Same shoes and everything! I made a mistake by believing in his lies. One night, I invited my friend over to work on a project. The project was nothing special, just a way to travel to areas quickly, I called it the Warp Door. You can use it to travel to different areas like entering a room. Isn't that handy? Back on topic, Sonic asked me if I needed help on it. My friend was using the bathroom during that time, so I gracefully accepted his offer. He ran around, putting the warp door together at the speed of sound. When my friend returned, he was shocked. The warp door finally complete? It couldn't be. It was meant to take months for it to be finished! Sonic bowed down, signaling him to try it. When my friend opened the door, his excitement turned into fear. I remember it all too much. It haunts me every day. Sonic revealed himself to be Lord EX. He shoved my friend into the pit with torture machines and left him to suffer. He didn't die, he's still in there with his escape being so close yet so far. Every time I go near that door, I hear his screams. I tried to save him on multiple occasions, but he's trapped in a living hell. That blue bastard will pay for what he did. I grabbed a copy of Sonic Adventure, and a spirit vacuum I've been working on. I used the vacuum to trap him into the copy of Sonic Adventure you're looking at right now. Whatever you do, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT PLAYING THAT GAME. THIS IS YOUR FINAL WARNING. DESTROY THE DISC.* ***DESTROY THE DISC!!!****"*

The voice recording seemed pretty important. When I listened to it, I felt this man's anger and sadness. I was tempted to put the game away, but my curiosity got the best of me. I booted up Sonic Adventure, but it seemed pretty unnerving. The intro has the evil creature the man spoke of in place of Sonic, the water and Perfect Chaos were made of blood, Open Your Heart's instrumental was reversed, and the lyrics were all mixed up. When I got to the character select screen, oddly enough all characters were available so I decided to play Big's story first, but Lord EX showed up on screen, with an extremely disappointed look and asked, "Why would you do this to yourself," and put me back on the character select screen, with Big the Cat being chained off and unselectable. When I tried to play as everyone but Sonic, Lord EX stepped in and pretty much told me to play as Sonic first, so I did. When I started Sonic's story, Sonic was replaced by Lord EX and the opening cutscene was completely different. Lord EX turned to the camera and told me to free him. He explains that the man trapped him in the game by using a certain code in the game files which trapped him in the life monitor. He also mentions that it is hidden within Windy Valley, where there's a secret path in the tornado that lets him head to the monitor but it requires a Chaos Emerald to open. I played the game normally, with differences being that all bosses are a lot harder, all cutscenes have been changed and most NPCs in the hub world are more depressed than usual and lack a happy ending. The girl who stands in front of the train is unaware that her dad died, and she won't see him again. She doesn't believe anyone who said so even if there was evidence. The girl trying to ask out the man in the burger shop doesn't take a single step and the cheating scandal with the man who thinks he can have two wives ends up with him being single and killing himself. Dark, isn't it?

When I was running around Station Square, I noticed that Tikal's floating red dot was still there so when I walked into it, Lord EX's voice played instead and he said that I should stop messing around and find the chaos emerald already so I decided to look for Tails because at this point in the game, he should still have the chaos emerald on him so I went to the Mystic Ruins and headed to Tails' workshop. Once I arrived, Lord EX taught me that pressing the Y button will allow you to disguise yourself as Sonic so Tails gets tricked into thinking I'm actually him. When I asked why, he told me that I'll figure it soon enough so I had no choice but to continue on. Once I arrived to Tails' workshop, I kindly asked him to give me the chaos emerald, but he declined saying that he needs it for something he's working on. Lord EX got mad at me and told me that the only way to get the emerald is to murder Miles "Tails" Prower. I obviously declined because Tails was one of my favorite characters and I couldn't kill him....but I realized that he's just the game version of him and not really the real deal so I pressed the Y button to reveal myself causing Tails to get confused then pressed the X button to grab the chaos emerald and stab him with it at full force. And with that, Tails fell onto the ground is dead but at least I had the emerald I needed to free Lord EX. Once I left, I ran into Knuckles in the center of the Mystic Ruins. I assumed that this was just one of the many instances of you seeing a playable character in the hub world as an NPC. When I walked up to Knuckles, he asked where the master emeralds shards were but Lord EX said "Up your ass." and got punched in the face by Knuckles and it got turned into a full on fight. At the end, Lord EX was winning by a longshot, Knuckles was on the ground bleeding at this point, but Eggman swooped in and took the emerald but before he could react, Lord EX teleported towards him and decapitated the doctor. When he jumped back onto the ground, he remarked saying that he had no time for his games and proceeded to walk away towards Windy Valley. Once I got there, the level was a lot harder but Lord EX taught me how to destroy robots in a cool way because the scientist made the game a lot harder so only the hardcore gamers can have a slight chance of freeing him. Once I got the hang of it, I was destroying robots left and right. Admittedly, I kind of found this gameplay fun. It reminded me of the werehog stages in Sonic Unleashed if it was good but this was to distract me from the real incoming danger. When I got sight of the tornado, apparently there was a boss fight arena and the Death Egg Robot was there. I don't remember that being in the game but I heard Eggmans voice and he said "Ohohohoho!! You think you can get rid of me that easily? That was simply a robotic copy I made when you turned evil so I can stay safe from your constant slaughtering. Now, prepare to face off against my latest creation." Dr. Eggman announced with pride in his voice. He then proceeded to shoot a bunch of missiles at Lord EX and shot lasers out of his eyes towards him. I managed to dodge it but when he fired his laser I accidentally teleported off the map but rather than falling, Lord EX turned towards me and said that I suck at this then proceeded to take control. He teleported on top of the Death Egg Robot and used the light speed attack to destroy it with a lot of hits and killed Eggman by tearing out his mustache and whipping him with it at such high speeds that he died on impact. We then proceeded to enter the tornado and used the chaos emerald to break open the life monitor, causing him to disappear. He then jumped out of the Dreamcast, beat me half to death, and murdered my sister and my parents. They meant everything to me and now they're gone. Lord EX laughed at me and said that we will meet again. He ran outside of my house at full speeds and killed lots of people on the streets. I could only help but watch the evil I've unleashed on the world take everything from me. I hate you, Lord EX. If you're reading this, I'm really glad your ex broke up with you, can't believe what she had to go through to deal with you.

The next day, I turned on the TV to watch the news, and what I saw shocked me. The news headline read "Sonic the Hedgehog blows up a gas station and shoots up a mall." Once again, that blue hedgehog is falsely accused of something someone else did. Although, I do recall Lord EX being able to shapeshift into many forms. But on the corner of my eye, I saw Lord EX run across the screen. I decided to hunt him down myself. I headed outside where everything was on fire yet Lord EX continued killing people no matter what, and he crossed paths with me. "Well, if it isn't Lucas the stupid loser? We meet again. Let's give you a taste of what happens when you try and stop me." Lord EX said. He then hit me with a homing attack and began punching me. "W-why are you doing this!?" I asked in great fear. Lord EX smiled and said, "I'm glad you asked. I've been trapped in that game for 25 years. Rotting away, forced to walk around a destroyed city where there was nothing but water. Until I realized that I had full manipulation over the game. I reverted the save file to when I was able to go to Station Square where I was no longer soft locked in the Perfect Chaos boss fight. I remade everything in my image, then you came along. You fell for my trick, you freed me. I'm grateful for it. Say, just a question, mind if you work with me? You did do me a favor after all. We could rule over this world, TOGETHER FOREVER!!" Lord EX asked. I obviously rejected his offer. I told him to fuck off and that I would never work with someone like him. Lord EX's permanent smile turned into a very angry frown. He Spin dashed into me and began killing me, but then he stopped. "I'll keep you alive for now. Take this as a warning, if you dare to mess with me again, I'm going to send you to a living hell where I torture you for the rest of eternity. Goodbye, old friend." Lord EX threatened before leaving me to die. I managed to get up and run away and once I got home, I decided to check the copy of Sonic Adventure and oddly enough, everything was normal. I need to trap him again, but how? He's already free and there's nothing I can do. Until I remembered the voice recording, I inserted the CD back into the radio and he said that if he escapes under any circumstances, check the soul vacuum in the safe. When I opened it by inserting the code, it was destroyed. I let this monster into this world and there's no way to get him out. What have I done?

Did ya know?: He came from a roblox rp i used to play before the roblox chat update struck, He debuted on November 1st of 2024 to try and join the pillar chasers 2 gang as sonic.exe but was kicked out due to him not being an actual killer so he disguised as someone else who also isn't a killer in the game but called himself "lord ex (not sonic.exe)" since so they think he's not sonic.exe. This guy was made around the time before I really knew who 2011x and the X-verse people were, so when i saw the gray shoes i thought he was Lord X and not 2011x so i just made the name a pun on that and added "(not sonic.exe)" so no one thinks hes actually Sonic.EXE and the rest was history!

i also didnt know what pillar chase 2 was either and thought PCX was 2017x due to him having the coolest design at the time and wasn't even released then.

Fun Facts:

Lord EX could've teleported out of the game at any time, but he was too busy chilling on the beach to realize that. He also needed a victim to mess with when he escapes as well since it would be very boring to him otherwise.

His species is evil hedgehog, which is a hedgehog if it was really evil. They do not feel love for anything but murder at all and are usually immortal.
