Tanatan Drum is hurting India's Dairy Industry and even cows

Let's look into history, shall we?

Cow worship or making it sacred or something came from Buddhism. Hindus adopted it, for whatever reason, but speculation as to why Indians, and by extension ancient Hindu-Buddhists became vegetarian is kind of explanatory, and it's a multifaceted issue too. There was disease and pestilence everywhere, so, meat was kind of unsafe to consume in certain seasons, like summer and monsoon. So, people started eating less. Then these buddhist-hindu kingdoms saw an opportunity to grow only cash crops like rice, millets and pulses, because that's what could be transported across the borders, so, they actively made people dependent on these crops instead of meat, and amassed mounds of gold from taxation and trade. It also made people senile and powerless and suddenly, the requirement of guards/soldiers to maintain order became less and less, this is essentially what has happened: amass extraordinary wealth through changing diets of people and live without a fear of rebellion. This is the reason why no rebellions took place in India for so long, too. Vegetarianism is a conspiracy adopted by nobles who wanted a senile population which couldn't even rely on itself when hardship came and made them extremely dependent on grain. Another reason is, keeping a cow and milking it into oblivion is easier than breeding them, slaughtering them when needed and the amount of work it goes into maintaining cows not just for milk but also meat.

Now, as to why this Drum bullshit is hurting India's dairy industry: Places where meat isn't prohibited developed/bred huge, healthy cows which gave substantially more milk and gave meat in a lesser time spans, reducing protein deficiency. On the other hand, our own farmers don't cull cows for meat when there's a genetically superior one or when it's reaching the end of its' milking days still out there, they'll just milk it out into oblivion and make money out of it. It makes cows a lot unhealthy and prone to disease and so on. It reduces the genetic quality of our cows, which in turn, is actively hurting our industry and our health.

Again, we don't have droughts now. Our Agricultural revolution and supplementing infrastructure made it possible for crops to grow, regardless of the rains of that year except in fringe cases, we managed to reduce drought. It's high time we start consuming beef, to not hurt the cows. We have infrastructure and tools to reduce infections/diseases in cows and it's a high time we understood this.

All religions are bad, and there's a pattern Please look into this:

Recently, I had a pretty heated discussion, here on reddit with some Islamists, who were claiming that British Grooming gangs shouldn't be labeled Pakistani or Muslims, in the same way Epstein files aren't called Jewish grooming gangs and such. I just pointed out the reality which made the accurate name for these gangs.

First, these gangs organize themselves in and around religious conventions like mosques in Britain. Second, these gangs and their mentality is explicitly using Islamic terminology and "values", which demonize relatively liberal women of Britain, because they aren't modest and aren't following the one, true religion. These are the points I made.

Their response to it: apparently, since a significant portion of Epstein criminals/accused are Judeo Christian, they tried to label it from Jewish grooming gang to Judeo-christian grooming gang. I stated that it's not intellectually honest(refer to the second para), construct an argument from there. Then resorted to labelling atheists from them, like Hitchens and Dawkins who were found in there and labelling it atheist grooming gang or something, but I sternly responded, that if they used atheist conventions and used atheism to justify their crimes against Humanity recorded in the epstein files, I would have no problem accepting the name atheist grooming gang. Radio silence.

The rest of the comments are ad hominem attacks and hasty generalizations that I am a Hindu/Indian. I am an Indian, but not a Hindu, yes, I used to be some saffron asshole, but not anymore, that's an open book on the internet. It's been a slow transition, and I don't believe in religion as of now. And rightfully to every Hindu reading this: Yes, it's because of you that we have such a bad reputation. You can't acknowledge caste as a defining factor for many a people in here, and believe in your own romanticized version that British divided us or portuguese or Islamists divided us into castes, but no. Your religion did it, and I am ashamed that until my parents there were casteists in my family. I don't want to continue that. I have left this shitty religion a long time ago.
