How long did your Pvt Ltd registration actually take? Online platforms are all over the place with their timelines
So I'm in the process of registering a Pvt Ltd company and I'm looking at different timelines depending on where I look.
Razorpay Rize claims you can get incorporated in 15 days. Vakilsearch says 7-10 working days. IndiaFilings shows something like fast track available in 5 days. But I've read enough Reddit threads to know that advertised timelines almost never match reality.
I'm leaning toward Razorpay Rize mainly because the process looks more guided and structured, but I honestly have no idea if their ""15 days"" timeline is realistic or if there are bottlenecks they're not mentioning.
What I'm actually trying to understand:
If you used an online platform (Razorpay Rize, Vakilsearch, IndiaFilings, or others), how long did the process actually take from start to finish? Not their advertised timeline—your actual timeline.
Where did things slow down? Like, was it:
Name approval taking longer than expected?
DSC (Digital Signature Certificate) causing delays?
Document verification being slow?
Government processing taking way longer than claimed?
Registered office setup delaying the process?
Some random reason nobody mentions?
If you went through a local CA instead of an online platform, how long did they say it would take vs. how long it actually took?
Did the timeline they promised match what actually happened? Or was there a bunch of back-and-forth, rejections, or waiting periods they didn't account for?
Real question: Does using ""fast track"" or ""expedited"" options actually speed things up, or is it just marketing? Have you or anyone you know used those and actually seen faster incorporation?
State matters? Did anyone notice their registration taking way longer or shorter depending on which state they were registering in? Like, is registering in one state faster than another?
The reason I'm asking is that I'm trying to plan my business launch timeline, and I need to know if I should budget for 2 weeks, a month, or longer. I don't want to commit to hiring people or signing contracts assuming I'll have my certificate in 15 days, only to find out it's taking 45 days because of some step everyone else got stuck on.
Would love to hear actual experiences from people who've been through this recently.
