I was searching on diff forums like HealthTap etc and Drs/Experts were saying that HPV transmission from Mouth to Genitals are rare/not likely but it is easy to acquire HPV from Genitals into the Mouth.

Why is that so? Any solid explanation behind this?

Secondly, why oral HPV infections are less common if they are so easy to get acquired? For example, easy to get oral infection from genitals.

And before clearing Oral HPV, sexually active people may be keep infecting Genitals and never know by giving them Oral Sex. IS THAT RIGHT? As websites say that oral infections take 1~2 years to clear. Between this time, are people at risk?
