Skid ideas.

Ah I’m on the fence about building a skid in the back of my truck. Starting to get a lot busier these days. Where I’m from I can only pressure wash for about 5 months. If I build my skid in the bed of my truck I’d have no way of taking the skid out as I don’t have a forklift or anywhere to store it. But I definitely need something as I can’t have all my equipment flopping around the back of my truck.

Surfactant

I’ve been using gain original liquid detergent (1oz:1gal SH) as my surfactant through recommendation, the one thing I’ve been noticing is that my solution is drying super fast. I know you aren’t supposed to let it dry, but I also hear you’re supposed to let it dwell for 10 mins.. so I did what I always do and asked AI. It told me that gain was the reason why my solution is drying up too fast and to use the specialized surfactants as they are made specifically to hold moisture. It also said gain will destroy your SH which I was surprised with as well. Mind you I do take a grain of salt with AI as it’s been wrong many times before.

I guess I’m just on the fence of deciding to give in and buy the expensive stuff or if anyone else has any field knowledge with this situation? If not gain what other surfactants have you found work best?

F9 barc or Oxalic Acid?

I hear they are both great for rust removal, but which one should I use?

Also how do you apply it? I was thinking maybe just a 1 gal pump sprayer? How would you get higher up spots on a second story home?

Window streaks after soft wash.

I’m at a job right now, and I used 1% mix on their home. I rinsed the crap off the house..
I’m now doing the windows and I’m noticing these streaks.. before anyone tells me I need to rinse more or not let the SH dry. I didn’t let the SH dry, and I cleaned the crap out of the window multiple times and I can’t even seem to rub these streaks off with my fingers. Almost like it’s on the inside of the windows.. has anyone else experienced this?
