Monad Top Performance & Crypto Winter Almost Over

Monad is the 4th best performing coin out of the top 200 by market cap in the last 24 hours. Let's keep the momentum moving forward.

Also, according to my research it looks like this cycle's crypto winter is almost over. If we can just survive another two months, things should start to improve. Be sure to check out the 2nd image in this post. You can see the number of days from BTC peak to the bottom. The patten has been the same the last 12 years. Do you guys agree or do you think I am wrong?

Building my first Monad app: Monad Momentum — a reputation platform for contributors

I’m starting a public build log documenting my journey as I create my first app on Monad.

A little background: I’m a digital marketer by trade and have spent years building websites, growing communities, and creating digital experiences. I’m comfortable with HTML and CSS, but my experience with deeper programming concepts has been limited.

For a long time, I’ve been on the side of helping projects grow through marketing and community. Now I want to learn the other side: building the products themselves.

Rather than waiting until I have every technical skill mastered, I decided to learn by building.

My goal with this project is not only to create something useful for the Monad ecosystem, but also to show other Monad enthusiasts that you don’t need to already be a senior developer to start creating.

Every ecosystem needs more than just engineers. It needs:

  • designers
  • marketers
  • community builders
  • storytellers
  • creators
  • people willing to experiment

The next generation of great applications will come from people combining their existing skills with new ones.

I hope this build log inspires more people to take their ideas off the drawing board and start building. Whether you come from marketing, design, content, business, or another background, there is a place for you in an ecosystem like Monad.

I’ll be documenting the journey as I learn, build, break things, fix them, and add new features.

Current Progress: Monad Momentum

Monad Momentum is a reputation and contribution platform designed for the Monad ecosystem.

The goal is simple:

Recognize and reward the people helping build Monad.

So far I have built:

✅ A Next.js application foundation
✅ A Supabase database backend
✅ User profiles
✅ Contribution tracking
✅ An XP-based reputation system
✅ Dynamic contributor profiles
✅ A leaderboard system
✅ The beginnings of a contribution submission platform

The current flow:

Contributor
     ↓
Submit contribution
     ↓
Contribution recorded
     ↓
XP awarded
     ↓
Reputation increases
     ↓
Leaderboard ranking updates

The long-term vision is to create a system that helps highlight the builders, creators, and contributors who are pushing the Monad ecosystem forward.

This is only the beginning.

I’ll add updates whenever there is a significant development, including technical milestones, lessons learned, and new features as Monad Momentum evolves.

You can follow the development journey through the GitHub repository and follow along on X to support the campaign.

Let’s build. 🟣z

Custom App for 15 Minute Monad Mission

Rather than just building educational content and hoping others would do the same, I thought it would be much more effective to build an app that acts like a scoreboard for creating content. It would reward people for consistently creating quality content about Monad.

The concept is simple:

Users connect their wallet, create a profile, and submit content they've created about Monad. After verification, they earn XP, build daily streaks, unlock badges, and move up community leaderboards. I currently own 1.7 million Monad tokens and would be willing to allocate some of them to this project.

The database is almost finished. You can follow my progress at https://github.com/monadmission/monad-momentum

Examples of contributions could include:

X posts and threads

Blog articles

Videos

Tutorials

Memes

Infographics

Instagram posts

Websites

Contributions on Reddit

Apps built on Monad

GitHub contributions

Other educational or community content

What do you think? If it was designed well, do you think it is something you would interact with?

15 Minute Monad Mission Video Explanation

The 15-Minute Monad Mission

I believe that if we can encourage Monad holders to dedicate just 15–20 minutes each week to helping grow the network, it could have a meaningful impact. The key is consistency. Small, repeated actions from thousands of community members can create real momentum over time.

The goal isn't to ask everyone to become a developer or full-time content creator. Instead, it's about giving the average user simple, practical ways to contribute to the ecosystem every week.

1. Learn (5 minutes)

Spend a few minutes learning something new about the ecosystem.

Ideas:

  • Read an ecosystem blog post.
  • Read a project announcement.
  • Watch a short demo from a Monad builder.
  • Learn about a new dApp or tool.

Why it matters: The more informed the community becomes, the better equipped we are to support builders, answer questions, and introduce others to the ecosystem.

2. Engage (5 minutes)

Support builders by interacting with their content.

Ideas:

  • Like and reply to a builder's post.
  • Leave a thoughtful comment.
  • Ask a genuine question.
  • Welcome someone new to the community.

Why it matters: Every meaningful interaction increases visibility, encourages builders, and helps quality content reach more people.

3. Share (5 minutes)

Share what you've learned with your own network.

Ideas:

  • Share a blog post with your thoughts.
  • Quote-post a project update.
  • Tell others about a new app you discovered.
  • Recommend a Monad project to a friend.

Why it matters: Personal recommendations are one of the most effective forms of marketing. Authentic voices help grow the ecosystem far more than advertisements.

4. Use the Ecosystem

Become an active participant.

Ideas:

  • Try a new dApp.
  • Complete a transaction.
  • Test a new feature.
  • Report bugs or confusing user experiences.
  • Provide constructive feedback to builders.

Why it matters: Real users create real activity. Every interaction helps projects improve and demonstrates genuine adoption.

5. Graduate from Being Educated to Becoming an Educator

Once you've spent time learning about the ecosystem, interacting with builders, and sharing what you've discovered, take the next step by creating your own content.

It doesn't have to be polished or complicated. The most valuable content often comes from everyday users sharing real experiences.

Ideas:

  • Share something new you learned.
  • Post a screenshot of a dApp you're using.
  • Write a quick tip or walkthrough.
  • Record a short video explaining a feature.
  • Tell your Monad journey or experience.

Why it matters: Communities grow fastest when members become educators. Authentic content from everyday users is often more relatable and trustworthy than official announcements. Every new educator helps bring more people into the ecosystem, creating a positive cycle of learning, participation, and growth.

The Weekly Challenge

In just 15–20 minutes each week, you can make a meaningful contribution.

✅ Learn something new.
✅ Engage with builders.
✅ Share what you've learned.
✅ Use the ecosystem.
✅ When you're ready, become an educator.

One person spending 15 minutes each week won't change the ecosystem overnight. But if thousands of Monad holders consistently contribute a small amount of time, those efforts compound into stronger communities, more active builders, better products, and greater awareness.

My goal with these videos is to show the average user simple, practical things they can do to help grow the Monad ecosystem, explain why those actions matter, and demonstrate how individual contributions can make a real difference.

One additional benefit of a program like this is that the more people understand an ecosystem, the more likely they are to develop genuine conviction about its long-term potential. As community members learn about new projects, use the applications being built, and see the progress happening firsthand, they gain a deeper appreciation for what Monad is becoming.

That increased understanding often leads to greater confidence in the ecosystem. People naturally tend to support and invest more time, attention, and, when it aligns with their own financial goals and risk tolerance, sometimes even more of their own capital into projects they truly understand and believe in. By helping the community become more informed and engaged, we're not just growing awareness—we're building a stronger, more knowledgeable ecosystem with participants who have real conviction in its future.

I'll post the first video in this thread as soon as it's finished—hopefully sometime next week. My hope is that it resonates with the community and builds momentum. If more people understood there are tangible, practical ways they can contribute to the ecosystem while potentially increasing the long-term value of the network they believe in, I think many would be excited to take part.

New Idea for Helping Build Monad - All Feedback Welcome

I'm a digital marketer by trade, and I've been investing in crypto for the past 5–6 years. Beyond staking my coins, though, I've never really known how I could personally contribute to helping a network grow. I imagine there are a lot of crypto investors who aren't developers and feel the same way.

One idea I've been kicking around is creating a series of high-quality educational videos that explain Monad in a way the average person can actually understand. The goal would be to cover what Monad does, how it's different from other blockchains, and—most importantly—what everyday users can do to help grow the ecosystem.

The videos would be professionally produced in After Effects with a strong focus on quality and clarity.

Do you think this would be a valuable project, or would it mostly be a waste of time? I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback or suggestions before I dive in.
