Spent way too many hours building a South Africa travel site. Be brutally honest - is it any good?
Okay, confession: I'm a bit obsessed with South Africa , and somewhere along the way that turned into me building a whole travel guide for it. Think Kruger safaris, Cape Town, the Garden Route, whale season, where to eat, when to go, and the "is it safe?" questions everyone's too polite to ask out loud.
It's called South Africa Info (southafricainfo.co.za), completely free, no "subscribe to my newsletter for 10 secret beaches" nonsense.
But here's the thing: I'm way too close to it now. I've read my own homepage so many times the words have stopped meaning anything. So I'm throwing it to the people who actually know good travel content... you lot.
What I'd love your honest take on:
- Does the homepage make you want to keep clicking, or bounce?
- Is anything confusing / missing / obviously written by someone who stared at it too long?
- If you've been to SA, did I get anything wrong? (Please tell me. Gently. Or not.)
Roast it, bless it, nitpick the fonts, all feedback welcome. 🙏
