I’m reading every comment. What kind of Spanish message makes you switch to a translator most often?

I’m the developer of TypeFlow, an iOS keyboard utility for people who need to write short Spanish replies inside the app they are already using.

The problem I kept seeing is small, but it breaks the flow of a conversation:

You start writing a message in English, switch to a translator app, copy the Spanish result, paste it back into Messages / WhatsApp / email, then realize the sentence sounds too stiff or too literal.

TypeFlow is my attempt to make that workflow feel less clumsy.

It works as an iOS keyboard. You can type what you want to say in English, get a Spanish suggestion, and insert it directly into the text field without leaving the conversation.

What it is useful for:

- quick Spanish replies in real chats

- messages to friends, partners, hosts, coworkers, or customers

- checking whether a sentence sounds more natural before sending

- reducing copy/paste between chat apps and translator apps

- everyday communication when you know what you want to say, but not how to phrase it in Spanish

What it is not:

- not a full language-learning course

- not meant for legal, medical, or highly technical translation

- not trying to replace a full translator app for long documents

- currently focused on English -> Spanish

The main design decision was to keep it at the keyboard level instead of building another standalone translator app. For this specific use case, the value is not “better translation in a separate app”; it is removing the app-switching step while you are already writing.

I’m posting this on Wednesday because r/software allows self-promotion when there is something useful for the community. I’m the developer, so this is self-promotion.
