I have done 2/3 of this large stitch, rolled my piece up to do the last top bit and the sides are flabby on both sides - this has not been an issue before. I have tried rerolling it multiple times to see if I could switch some tension and I even bought clips (second pic) which are useless this time around, as my aida is too close to the edges.

Does anyone have an old granny trick or is there something else I can buy? I despise stitching on aida that isn’t taut.
