Almost certain this won’t be able to be completed, but I’m giving it a shot anyway. My grandmother has been doing family history, and has become very interested in the story of her uncle, who fought for the British army in WW2 and was killed after falling into a river in Iraq in 1942 (he couldn’t swim). He’s buried at the Basra commonwealth war cemetery, which I believe has fallen into some amount of disrepair but the graves should still be preserved. He is located at Plot 7, Row C, Grave 11. If anyone could take a picture of his grave, that would be much appreciated. He’ll likely be buried as N.C Irvine.

Would anybody be willing to take a picture of a grave in the Basra war memorial and send it to me (from WW2 not the Iraq war dw)? My grandma is doing family history and I’m trying to help her- the grave is of my great uncle who died in WW2 (fought for the British army). The grave is Plot 7, Row C, Grave 11 - surname Irvine. She has very little on him so it would mean a lot if someone could confirm that’s where he is buried via his grave, or even just an image of what it looks like.
