New habit of flipping the food bowl

New habit of flipping the food bowl

My boy (about 14 months) has picked up a really obnoxious habit of picking up his food bowl and dumping it when it’s full.

It used to be when he was hungry he would pick it up and drop it near me or my husband as a way to beg for new food but that was when it was empty. For about a month or two now he’s began picking up a totally full food bowl and dumping his food all over the place.

Has anyone else dealt with this? And if so how do we stop it ?

Thank you in advance!

In need of extensions for wedding day high ponytail style in Tokyo

I’m looking for a stylist that can help me with selecting and perhaps even installing extensions for my wedding day (in salon not venue)

Biggest tricky part is earlier in the week before the wedding, my bridesmaids and I go to Okinawa. I have about 3 days between that and the wedding day. I don’t want to have them installed at the beach and get them all yucky from seawater

I have never had extensions before so I’m not too sure what’s best but I heard clip ins are solid. I know human hair is really expensive. The style is a braid with some extra small twists. I don’t really know how good synthetic hair is these days but I imagine human might be a little unnecessary.

Ideally I would like to meet with a stylist ASAP who can help. My hair and makeup test is August 30th.

I live Saitama so west side Tokyo is awesome but I’ll go anywhere in Kanto if it means great results. Budget is pretty open.

English support is a plus but I can manage without.

I can attach an image of my inspo in the comments upon request if it helps.

Thank you in advance!

Roundworms: no big deal ?

Trigger warning: GROSS Don’t read while eating

So my dearest son (9 month old Bernese) vomited up some roundworms this morning. When he was younger he was on dewormer medication and they would die after taking the medicine and manifest in his poop the next day. We thought that around 6 months it was out of his system and the vet stopped giving them to us as it was no longer needed. I guess this is not the case judging from today’s puke.

Naturally I took him to the vet and got more medicine but now I’m concerned about myself being infected. Last week he had an accident in his crate and got the poop on his feet. I washed his paws with soap and water but I fear it may not be enough to get rid of the eggs. Especially since he likes to jump on the bed.

I sent myself into an anxious frenzy looking up symptoms and things for when humans contract it. Like total horror movie stuff like sneezing up worms and them living in my eyeballs.

The vet said for a healthy adult human it’s typically nothing to worry about but I think I still want to get tested. I called about 10 clinics and all of them said they can’t do anything and won’t see me especially since I feel fine. Some suggested I go to a uni hospital but I thought I needed a referral to even be seen at those places.

My MIL said to say I had a tummy ache and to see a clinic and mention the concern while at the clinic and try to get the referral that way.

My question is, am I just being crazy and blowing this out of proportion? Or should I give my MILs tactic a try to get a test ? Is this a normal response to catching this parasite? In America I would imagine just going to a GP and they would throw some parasite medicine my way as a precaution

Also I’m currently washing all our sheets and things in hot water and the hottest drying mode hoping to sanitize things properly. Any advice on cleaning the carpets and other surfaces in the house ?

Also is there any OTC option I could take ?

Also we live in Saitama but I wouldn’t mind going to a hospital or clinic in Tokyo if anyone has any good doctor or hospital recommendations

Thank you in advance
