Just wondering if anyone can advise or help!

I’m British, my fiancé is Nigerian. We’re confused on what visa we can apply for? To give a bit background.
He came ti the UK on a student visa in 2019. We worked together from 2021-2025. We got together in 2024. Don’t live together just yet due to his situation. However we see each other 3-4 times a week (sometimes more depending on work shifts). We’ve had pregnancy losses since 2025. We’re planning to get married in August. But I’m just wondering if anyone can advise which visa route we would need to go down until we’re married? He currently has a private life application with the home office but we’re not even sure if this is the right visa application we should have submitted? Or if we need to cancel and apply for another visa? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Wondering if anyone has any advice/ been in similar situation?
Back ground:
Came to the UK in 2020.
Got married in 2021 by proxy however got divorced but appealed with the home office to bide me more time.

I got with my current partner in 2024 (we worked together since 2021 until 2025)
She is UK citizen.
We see each other 3-4 times a week with work shifts ect.
Been engaged since 2025.
We’ve had 4 pregnancies, sadly these have ended though.
I applied for a private life route and awaiting an outcome from the home office.
We’ve got evidence of our time together, travelling places in the UK and hospital appointments attended together since2024.
We don’t co-habit because of the uncertainty around my visa situation as we want to be settled and also saving together to buy a house together.

My question is- would my previous visa put my new application at jeopardy with my current partner? Or if I did intend to marry her would the home office deem this as not compatible due to not living together and my previous marriage being proxy and not meeting requirements?
