I was in a WWASP school for two years. (2011-2013) called Midwest Academy. AMA
I went to a disciplinary school for troubled teens for two years. It was shut down for abuse. It followed a program that was meant to break down your identity and they used inhumane tactics. For many years after I was a believer in the program. But after years of night terrors and studying cults I realize the emotional damage that was done to me. This school was far worse than the penal system in the U.S. (which is still pretty bad) I make this post after watching "Wayward" on Netflix and wondering if anyone has questions about the troubled teen industry now that it's getting more exposure.
