Minute was a former dia player in Mafia and one of the og players of Mafia.
After exploit arc and Zam empire arc, Ashwagg wanted Spoke and Jamato's exploits. Jamato was the master of exploits so the mafia hunted him down and forced him to perform the exploits. However the exploits were patched. Ashwagg came with his dia players during these operations ( Minute was a part of the dia squad back then). Ashwagg indirectly threatened Jamato with Spoke's death as written in his book which Spoke later found with PlanetLord. Jamato had disappeared then and Jamato wrote in his book that he was either captured or dead. I am assuming here that since Jamato disappeared and Mafia members didn't have a hint of his whereabouts, it was assumed that he had died.
Spoke later found a compass left by Jamato which led them to a Mafia fort where Spoke later started to infiltrate the Mafia along with Leowook. Therefore point no. 1 it was definitely JamatoP who was referred by Minute and not Ashwagg.

Bruteforcing against Minute was really an instance of bad decision from Spoke. When LAW took over the End they manipulated Minute ( despite having a combat master and hundred's of soldiers in the end) that they were bringing peace and not building a second mafia. When Baablu's squad tried to send enderdragons to spawn, they manipulated wemmbu to drain minute instead of bruteforcing their way in.

Wemmbu helped Minute get back the main island from Baablu's squad and their friendship began from there. Minute returned the favour by keeping egg in the end when his respawn was set in farlands. Then again Wemmbu revealed LAW's true colours to Minute and helped him get back the end and Minute helped him during the final LAW fight. So Minute is prolly going for Wemmbu.
However, there is also a chance Minute tries to find ashwagg not to ask for his help but to inquire more into JamatoP since apart from farlanders and spoke, ashwagg had a great knowledge about JamatoP's exploits.

Now notice the cycle of events.
Mafia captured Jamato for his exploits, Jamato one day disappeared leaving a compass to lead Spoke to Mafia fort. Same events.. just that Ashwagg is replaced by Spoke , the mafia by null and Spoke during mafia arc by Minute.
