It’s the Garden Views lot in the Eco Esplanade neighbourhood. I roughly used the pre-existing template. My build has 3 bedrooms, an open living room, dining room, and kitchen, a garage, and 3 bathrooms (1 WC). The outdoors has a large pool, BBQ area, seating, a fireplace, an entertainment room, an outdoor shower, and a WC. In the central courtyard is a large fountain with landscaping and seating. This is my favourite bit of the build.

I had one of my couples propose in front of the fountain which is the last screenshot!

Johnny Zest was caught in some screenshots so please ignore him. He’s just so annoying and wants to be at the center of everything 🙄.

New build angle is finally coming out in the next update!!! Also we get to place items on roofs & sims can wear multiple accessories!!

This additional build angle is something we’ve been asking FOREVER! I’m so excited!!!

Several garden packs from the online store are available in the current batch of AH

Quite a steal for those of us (including me) who didn’t/couldn’t buy these packs! But at the same time I think it might be a bit unfair for those who spent their money on them when they could have gotten them from AH not long after. After all they weren’t exactly cheap! Just a personal opinion! Maybe EA should at least wait until several batches later before giving them away for free.

I’ve attached screenshots with the items circled and I’ve also included a screenshot of the 3 houses that these items come in. I purchased one of them for the time being so I’ve attached the names of the items as they appear in my inventory.

Also available in these houses are several items from very recent events including the deli counters, pantry shelves, and their associated decorations, the nail salon chairs, wall shelf, and tabletop decorations, the summer estate tall hanging ivy, etc.

Do you guys save the extra large lots for houses or commercial builds?

I believe we have a total of 8 unlock-able XL lots right now (with 3 being community lots) across sim springs and rocky heights. I’m planning a new permanent house for one of my permanent sim families and I’m wondering if I’ll be wasting the XL lots if I build a house in one. I just expanded the family with the new additional sims per house quota so I need a large house now. I’m planning a house with at least 5 bedrooms, entertainment rooms, and a spacious backyard with a pool and pool house. The ocean view lots seems a bit inadequate for all this unless I build vertically.

How do you guys use the XL lots? Do you think I’ll be wasting a good plot if I put a house in one?

I do already have a permanent house for my main sims family in one of the Rocky heights XL lots so technically I only have 4 residential XL lots remaining (haven’t unlocked all yet though).

Did the person who was supposed to remove expensive/rare items from AH sleep on the job??

The new batch has so many items from paid packs, recent 1st run events, and current mystery boxes! It seems to be a good batch of houses after a long time.

Some rare/expensive items I noticed include;
- the dinosaur toddler play mat from a current mystery box
- one of the large pine paintings from a current mystery box
- flower hedges from a recent paid pack (not 100% sure it’s that one though)
- the pink gamer items from a recent paid pack, including the hanging net of stuffed toys (been wishing for this to appear in an AH!)
- navy blue colour version of the “curated closet” items in the current paid pack
- items from recent estate and detective events including the lotus pond, white bookshelves (both the normal sized one and grand one), estate rugs, box of case files, the oak estate infant furniture and its wallpaper, etc.

I’m sure there’s plenty more that I haven’t mentioned here so it’s worth checking these houses out!

Credit to the original creator!

I think this house was in the last batch. I thought it looked cute so I couldn’t help by purchase a copy and do a bit of my own renovation using items from some of the recent live events. Love those blush pink curtained windows and the green sofa set!! Nothing fancy but I thought it’s a good house for a small family so I moved in a temporary family. Will be deleting the house after the family passes on.

I don’t have my iPad (with my game) with me atm so I took a screenshot of the question that I saw was asked on FB too. No one seems to have resolved it there. Earlier today I was trying to replicate this but didn’t find a way.

It seems that the ground floor has two empty spaces instead of proper rooms but how did they then manage to put 2nd and 3rd storey rooms over those empty spaces??

Any help would be appreciated! Thought I’ll ask the question in here in case anyone in the wider community knows.
