The Strv M/51-90 (SA) The Desert Beast
"Combat photos" of the M51-90 taking several low caliber anti-tank hits whilst fighting insurgent forces.
Lore:
The M/51-90 was a replacement for the AML-90 and Ratel 90-20. Being an export of the M/51-105 using the already existing 90mm cannon was a cheaper option to the Swedish 105mm Anti-tank cannon. The M/51-105 was equipped with a 1.2 second autoloader that was swapped for a 2.3 second autoloader to accommodate the 90mm cannon. The barrel was extended to increase the effectiveness at longer ranges. After the first encounter with insurgent forces the M/51-90 was given the nickname "Dessert Beast" due to the 9-1 K/D ratio achieved during combat.
