Replacing 90s electric heaters - how to choose??
Dear all,
I've just bought a 2-bed maisonette, built in 1995 and has the original heaters - 2 are storage and 2 are electric. There is no gas to the property.
Apparently the heaters all work fine but I definitely want to replace them with modern, more energy efficient and nicer looking heaters. I'll need 4 in total.
My question is: how do I go about this? I've got a quote booked with Fischer heat, and I know there are other companies that can also quote for me, but I also know that there are online suppliers that you can just order rads from and then hire a qualified person to fit them (side question: do all electricians know how to do this or are there electric radiator-specific electricians?).
I can see that the bonus with a company like Fischer (or equivalent) is that they do it all for you and make everything simpler, but I'm not really sure what the best option is here and I don't want to spend stupid money if I don't have to! (don't worry, I'm absolutely not going to attempt to install them myself!)
Thanks!
