Just finished Sadogashima hive attack arc and I think it is bad. Was this supposed to be good?
Disclaimer: not trying to insult anyone, I just want to hear opinions abou this arc.
The arcs intorduces so much things but ends poorly without resolving none of this things:
1)You expect for something crazy to happen with Sumika, but after she passes out nothing more happens to her and you don't even get an answer as to why she passed out.
2)The BETA initially did a lot of strange things, like emerging from the ground and stopping after seeing Sumika, but in the end nothing important happened with the BETA.
3)Before the battle Takeru talked with Isumi about the contrast between love and the mission, so I expected Takeru to encounter some sort of inner conflict during the mission, but this doesnt happen.
4)You expect Meya to do something crazy after reading the dialogue between Takeru and Tsukuyomi, but in the end she does nothing.
The arc concludes instead with Isumi's sacrifice, wich personally didnt even get me emotional, why am I supposed to care about her? And also I wonder what the purpose of Kashiwagi's sacrfice is, wasnt Isumi's sacrifice enough? This felt very unecessary.
