I am currently in my first summer busy season. Oh my god is it the worst experience of my life. Honestly the spring busy season was not as bad as this one. The hours are insane and it’s really making me want to quit the whole accounting field. The senior I am working with is horrible doesn’t know wtf he is doing. After 9/15 I am really going to have look at my life and see if all of this stress is really worth it.

Started big 4 tax a year ago and safe to say it has truly been the most miserable year of my life. I’m starting summer busy season and it has been already worse than the spring. I cannot stand the client that I am on. The senior I have been assigned with makes me want to rip the hair out of my head because of how annoying he is. Everything is a fire drill. I want to quit so bad but is it too early for me to do so? Once I do leave PA I have 0 intention of ever doing anything in accounting ever again.
