Help with Grim Hollow Transformed on D&D Beyond

Question for community.

Are some Grim Hollow features locked behind certain walls?

I ask because I have the Transformed PG and DMG, which grants me the options for those character classes and backgrounds, however not traits and languages.

A big thing about Transformed is that you technically customize your own heritage. It seems that the species for characters lock in a the stereotypical presets within the book.

Furthermore, I am not seeing Grim Hollow languages appear during character creation either.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I am newer to D&D Beyond so I’d understand if there’s a solution I just don’t know it yet, or am I missing something?

Adventurer’s Bard + Ranger Talent confusion

So, I just acquired the 5.5e/2024 books from D&D Beyond and I stumbled across an interesting little combo.

In the player’s guide, there is the Bard subclass for College of Adventurers that allows you to take aspects of other classes to build up your “Adventuring Bard”. Now, the confusion I have lies with the Ranger talent option that reads as follows…

“You always have the Hunter’s Mark spell prepared. You can cast this spell at level 5 without expending a spell slot.

Once you cast the spell using this talent, you can’t do so again until you finish a Long Rest.”

I’m confused because that SEEMS kinda broken. I emphasize seems because I have not been able to actually try these new books out, but if I am reading this correctly, that’s one free cast of a 5th level spell at level 3, when a ranger would not have access to such a resource until level 17! And it sounds unfair to any Rangers actually in the party.

What does the community think about this?
Does anyone have any firsthand experience regarding this either to share how it worked at a table?
