Well Sony basically implied this would happen and it finally did. Sucks for multiple reasons but for a minute CR store had some really good deals it’s a shame how much worse Sony and CR are becoming by the minute.

I went to the Regal Mystery Movie Monday because it was horror themed. Just my luck the film was Ice Cream Man. I’ll keep this short and sweet, this is awful. I’ll start with what I liked but first I have to mention I’m 99% sure there is AI in this. The animation on the phone and the ice cream flavors really look like AI, especially the animation on the phone. Some of the gore was pretty great and they actually use the environment to their advantage with the kills which is cool. There are some good jokes, not many but some are good. Now onto the bad. This is the worst shot film I have ever seen, full stop. It’s actually nauseating to watch. It is so unbelievably blurry and shaky. Like so much to the point where you can barely see what’s going on. I had a horrible headache by the end of it. Acting is bad but to be expected from mostly child actors. The jokes like I said are sometimes good, but unfortunately most of the time they are not very funny. Including a joke about the 16 year old junior in high school character which at best is incredibly unfunny and at worst incredibly predatory. Spoiler Warning and trigger warning for implied CSA. The motive of the Ice Cream Man ends up being that he was falsely accused of CSA to cover up actions from Catholic Priests in the town. Which of course leads back to the MC whose grandfather was the lawyer that convinced the kids including his own to accuse the Ice Cream Man to get him arrested. He then makes a deal with a necromancer to get revenge. The film ends with the main sibling duo accidentally killing their parents and the Ice Cream Man successfully turning all the kids in the whole town evil. Thus ending this awful film (Which means that the children who were SA and tricked by their parents are the characters we watched get killed in this film. Which I am honestly surprised no one on the team at all thought may be a bad choice). I would honestly not recommend anyone to see this film mostly because of the AI but also because it’s not very good. Also Eli Roth sucks. 1/5.
Got the chance to go to Kinokuniya and Bookoff again. Those stores are so amazing man. Most of these came from the $5 and below section from Bookoff, which honestly has some pretty great stuff.
