Rate my fictional interceptors!
I made 2 interceptors and a scanning truck, here are the statistics:
TRV series (Tornado Research Vehicle)
TRV 1: Based on a Renault Laguna 3 2013 the TRV 1 is a low aerodynamic vehicle with 4 hidraulic spikes that is estimated to survive 170-190 mph winds made for quick chases on small roads.
TRV 2: Based on a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe, it is a stronger aerodynamic vehicle with 8 hidraulic spikes, IMAX turret, and a small mesonet with an estimated threshold of 190-230 mph made for long chases and heavy intercepts.
TRV 3 Scanning truck: Based on a 2010 GMC Sierra the vehicle is not made to intercept but to scan the tornadoes and take photos and videos from a far distance using the IMAX turret with an estimated threshold of 105-110 mph when deployed made for violent tornadoes and low risk chases.
