Conspiracy theories have become prominent in the current timeline
It is common knowledge that cinema had alluded to the Twin Towers—and the disasters that might befall them—years before September 11. However, in the current timeline, these references are incredibly frequent; they are so numerous that dismissing them as mere coincidence is impossible. For instance, the date 9/11 is symbolized multiple times in the film *Back to the Future*. Another example is "The Lone Gunmen", a spin-off of "The X-Files". An episode aired on March 4, 2001, depicts a plot in which the government orchestrates a conspiracy to crash a plane into the World Trade Center towers as a pretext to launch a war in the Middle East.
There is also another matter—one I have only recently noticed as a non-American—which is that a bombing took place in the parking garage of the World Trade Center's North Tower back in 1993.
Despite the massive explosion that created a deep crater, the 1993 bombing failed to bring down the tower. The primary objective of the plotters was to cause the North Tower to collapse into the South Tower. People rarely discuss this event, as it has been overshadowed by the September 11 attacks.
