Overbearing strawberries

Last year I was gifted with a hanging basket of everbearing strawberries. All summer they shot out an impressive array of runners with plants on the ends. Saved six of these little plants, which overwinter in a foil pan forgotten in a corner. This spring I planted them and rn they are raging - plants are standing 8 - 10" and covered in flowers. Now multiple runners, all growing their own little plants (one has a flower on it). Will I have a better crop this year if I cut all the runners, or does it make any difference?
