Got to love Midwest USA weather. 77 and humid on Monday. 54 and cool today.
A little slower run. My ankle was bothering me so didn’t want to push it. But definitely still feeling better this 2nd go around.
2nd 5K in June. Signed up yesterday!

22 min jog equaled 1.5 miles of straight jogging for me! Feeling a bit dehydrated and the weather is getting warmed so need to adjust to that but got it done!!!

I did not want to do this run. Full disclosure was not having it. Between work and home I’m exhausted. I even told myself just go for a walk at least you’ll feel better.
Got out there and went ahead and started the program was doing the warm up and turned on a playlist (normally I listen to podcast) and the song Can’t stop this by Alex Warren came on and completely changed my mood. It wasn’t pretty but I got the dang thing done this morning.
Now go conquer this busy busy Friday!

Another one in the books. This one was a bit tougher. Long weekend working so was feeling tried but got it done. Jogged all the intervals.

A Mother’s Day run for myself. This 20 min jog was easier this go around for sure! Was not quite 1.5 miles but I jogged the whole time which is my goal! Got to enjoy a glimpse of the sun before the clouds came.

Another redo day. Shocked myself with this run. Slept horrible last night and didn’t want to do it. But got it done and really felt good doing it. Felt like I hit a good stride and keep pace. Forgot my watch but oh well still a great workout!! Maybe the new shoes helped!

First 5k trail run race in 5 plus years. Did I run the whole time… nope! But I am so incredible proud of what I did. Ran about 2.5 miles of it off and on. Took me 48mins 3seconds. Definitely teared up when I crossed that finish line!!

Best advice I can give keep going. Even when you have bad days or don’t feel like it’s the best that’s ok. Everytime you lace up those shoes is a success!!!

If I can do it overweight and 9 months postpartum you can do it too!!!
