Kaplan or STC correct?

Conflicting information regarding subordinated loans from STC and KAPLAN.

Kaplan: subordinated loans must be filed 10 days prior to effective date with FINRA

STC: subordinated loans must be filed 10 days prior to effective date with SEC, 30 days for FINRA.

  1. Must it be filed with 1 or both of these
  2. Is it 30 days or 10? Or both?

Thanks!

Kaplan Practice Exam

Does anyone know if Kaplans practice exam (the one you can only take 1 time, meant to be more similar to the actual exam) lets you review the questions afterwards? I.e will it let me go back through the test, and show me what I got right and wrong or once I submit it will I just see a final score and how I did in each of the 5 areas?

I asked Kaplans support 3 days ago and haven’t heard anything back.

24 exam timeline, memory tools, study material

Hi everyone! I’ve been studying for the 24 slowly for a few months now (working full time at a BD). Mainly on the weekends, probably a few hours during the work week. I’m not on a deadline to test, but would like to do sooner rather than later.

I’m hoping to take my exam in the next month, as I finally feel like I’m grasping material.

I’m using Kaplan, have read the book twice, and taken every question in the Q bank. I’ve taken 3 simulation exams: 70% explanations on, 77.5% no explanations closed book, 82.5% no explanations closed book.

I’m working through deans playlist on 24 now. I also purchased STCs flash cards and working on reviewing those.

My questions are:

- any additional memory tricks anyone can provide?? (Ex: exempt: GAMB, lifetime: SPAM, 144 on restricted, 123 accreditation)

-What else can I do to retain info and cram? What’s the best use of my time?

- is there a provider that will let me purchase just practice exams or Q banks? Is this necessary or is Kaplan alone okay?

- how do I know when I’m “ready” to schedule my exam?

Sorry for so many questions - if you’ve made it this far, I’d very much appreciate your input! Thank you in advance.
