Title: [Service] Bringing custom wall art and murals to homes and businesses in Alappuzha

Hello, Alappuzha!

We're starting a custom wall-art service across Kerala and would love to work with people in Alappuzha.

The idea is to create artwork around your imagination and your space, whether that's a personalised mural for your home, a textured feature wall, a nature-inspired bedroom, or an artistic installation for a café, restaurant or homestay.

We have an experienced creative team, including people with film and art-direction backgrounds, helping us develop original concepts for each project.

This is a paid custom-art service, with each quotation depending on the design, size, materials and work involved.

We're looking to connect with homeowners, café owners, homestays, local businesses and anyone who has an idea for a wall they'd love to transform.

If you've ever wanted a wall that felt genuinely yours instead of something picked from a catalogue, we'd love to hear your idea.

Looking to build my own small filmmaking team in Kerala

I’m an Assistant Director and filmmaker based in Kerala, and I’m looking to build a small, committed filmmaking team that I can grow with over time.

I’m looking for beginners who are serious about learning, improving their craft, and working on real projects. You don’t need to have a huge portfolio or years of experience. I’m more interested in people who are reliable, creative, willing to learn, and serious about finishing what they start.

I’m especially looking for a Malayalam writer who can help develop stories, dialogues, and local details; a beginner editor who wants to learn through practical projects; a cinematographer or camera person who is starting out; and people interested in sound, production design, posters, social media, or production support.

I can develop ideas and write in English, but I would like to work with someone who can expand those ideas naturally in Malayalam.

The plan is to start small with short scenes, short films, social-media videos, music videos, and other practical projects. Alongside our own work, I want to find paid writing, editing, and video projects so we can gain experience, earn through the work, and eventually fund bigger projects.

To be transparent, this is not an immediate full-time paid job. Some early projects may be unpaid, low-budget, or based on shared revenue. If we take on paid work, payment, expenses, credits, ownership, and revenue sharing will be discussed clearly before the work begins.

I want to build a team that is honest, respectful, punctual, and committed—not just a temporary group that disappears after one project.

If you’re interested, please comment or message me with your location, the role you’re interested in, your current experience level, any sample work, the kind of films or content you want to make, and how much time you can realistically contribute each week.

I’m based in Kerala and would prefer people from Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, or nearby areas for shoots. Writers and editors can also collaborate remotely.

What kind of Malayalam movies do you want to see more of?

I’ve been thinking about the kinds of stories Malayalam cinema explores regularly and the genres we still don’t see often enough.

We have made some excellent dramas, thrillers, family films, crime stories, and realistic character-driven movies. But I sometimes feel that certain genres are still treated as risky or difficult to make here.

I’m not saying Malayalam cinema should move away from the grounded stories it does well. I’m more interested in seeing filmmakers use those strengths inside genres we don’t explore often.

For example, a science-fiction film about climate change and coastal communities in Kerala could feel more original than simply making another alien-invasion film. A horror film based on local folklore, family structures, or social anxieties could also be much more effective than a film built only around jump scares.

As someone interested in filmmaking, I’m curious about what audiences actually want to watch—not just what sounds exciting on paper.

What genres or kinds of stories do you think Malayalam cinema should explore more? And what would make those films feel genuinely Malayalam rather than like imitations of films from elsewhere?

Triple Frontier is carried by its cast and emotional tension

Triple Frontier is a tense action thriller that works best when it focuses on the bond between its characters rather than just the heist itself.

The casting is one of the film’s biggest strengths. Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund, and Pedro Pascal each bring a different personality to the group, making their relationships feel believable. The film gradually shows their loyalty, frustration, greed, and emotional damage without making them feel like simple action heroes.

The action is also handled well. It does not feel like meaningless bullets flying everywhere. Most of the violence has weight and consequences, which makes the tense moments more effective.

The cinematography and South American locations add to the film’s atmosphere, giving the story a sense of scale while still keeping the characters at the centre.

Ben Affleck gives a particularly strong performance as a damaged man who tries to remain controlled but cannot completely hide what he is feeling. His character’s emotional conflict gives the film more depth than a standard military-heist movie.

The film is not perfect. Some parts of the story feel stretched, and the pacing slows down in places. However, the strong cast, grounded action, moral tension, and sense of brotherhood make it an engaging watch.

Overall: Triple Frontier is a solid, character-driven action thriller with convincing performances and action that feels meaningful rather than excessive. Worth watching if you enjoy military thrillers, heist films, and stories about loyalty under pressure.

Mr Bean is the first Travel Vlogger

I recently rewatched Mr. Bean’s Holiday and realised that Mr. Bean was basically doing travel vlogging before travel vlogging became a thing.

He receives a video camera, takes it everywhere, records his journey across France, films strangers, documents every small disaster, and turns his holiday into a personal video diary.
